Football Sourdough Boule

Itsw finally cooling off enough to rn the oven and make some bread. Starter needed a couple feed and discards to get back in shape. Made this boule just now.

I haven't made any bread all summer.
I made bagel dogs for my kids with sour dough discard. It was so sour from sitting in the fridge I had to pour off the hooch.

I dont make bread in the summer, we dont have AC and the house gets too hot. Glad its fall=soup and bread season

I hear ya. Life has been keeping us busy too...no end in sight. My starter needed a little TLC to get happy again, luckily they are hard to kill
