hey Y'all,
during the 2tth annual Florida gathering in december, I was awarded a vac-sealed pack of rub( among other things) for 2nd place in the friendly rib competition. It was a yellow/orange color. I have not broken the seal to keep it fresh until i want to use it.I'm not sure who the donor was, but am curious if anyone knows the flavor profile so i can plan a cook?
thank a bunch

Maybe @SmokinAl Can point you in the right direction? I think he was there.

Looks like Brian's rub

100% @bmudd14474 rub. Tastes great but no idea what gives it that color. He sent me a few packs for the last Tennessee gathering and we used it on ribs and some wings

Sorry John, I missed your query.
Yes, it is Brian's rub. I got a package, too.

It can be used on anything. If you use it on a steak add some black pepper. Al tried it on popcorn and liked it.

It’s killer on ribs!
The cool thing about it, is it is powdered & it absorbs into the meat almost immediately.
Al
