I had one flat over a 25 year spell...it was a brand new tire on the back of a sport bike I had...cruising home from work, 95 mph and the rear of the bike got loose. Thing had less than 200 miles on it. Fast forward a while...counting today's escapade I have had flats since last September. 2 of them blow outs on the trailer.
Was heading to town today to pick up some metal for a project. Cruising down 231, about 60 mph or so and picked up a helluva shake in the trailer. Looked in the mirror and there was chunks flying. Luckily it was my car trailer, which has 2 axles. Limped it for a couple of miles to find a spot to pull over. Needless to say the spare was at home, about 11 miles away. Rolled the end of the fender over, tore up some wiring and did a number on what was left of the paint.
