My wife and kids loves these. I marinade a flank steak for about 24 hours with OJ, white vinegar, chopped garlic, cilantro, salt, and some lime juice. Throw it in the hot side of my Weber to seat it, then move it to the cold side and cook to about 138, let it rest and then chip it up. We serve it with some homemade pick my wife makes. And it turns out to be a pretty easy meal. We use Monterey Jack cheese shredded and whatever toppings you want to add. I’ll post the marinade recipe once I get a chance. But any taco fans should give it a try. Once the meet is chopped I usually squeeze the juice if half a like and mix it in. Enough talk though. Here are some pics.

YUM! Love beef tacos.

One time I was on the hunt for a flank steak and they were out. I was guided to try a flat iron steak as an alternative. I was unsure, but those also make great tacos. Just an FYI incase you cant find a flank sometime down the road.

Hell yeah, firing up the Carne Asada tacos.
Looks good, I could do at least four, maybe six.

I encourage you to add a healthy amount of Soy sauce to your Carne asada marinade, huge injection of 'Umami' flavor.
This!!!

Damn, those, do those look excellent.
I like a little cumin in my marinade, have you tried it that way? If not, add 1/2 to1 tsp and see how it goes over with the family.
Start out with 1/2 tsp, it can over power things quickly.

Nice work.
Dan.

Thanks Chile. I’ll have to give it a try.

Thanks Dan. I’ll have to give this a try also. I don’t know why I never thought about cumin!

Thanks everyone else for the kind words. I’ll post the recipe here in a sec. Weekdays are so dang busy for us.

Righteous tacos! I could literally eat that everyday.

I’ll take 4 if there’s any leftover.
