Friend built a smoker and brought it over for me to try out.  I decided to try and make pastrami.

Looks great but how about a little detail...How hot? How long? What was the final IT? What was in the Rub?...JJ

I used packaged corn beef. soaked it in water for a couple of hours the night before to remove some of the salt, then covered with plastic over night.  Then put a rub on that had brown sugar, black, pink, white, green peppercorns, mustard seeds and minced garlic.  Cooking temp tried to keep it around 225 for 5 hours internal temp 176
