Hey all my name is mica I live in clinton utah I just recently got a smoke vault smoker and was looking for some tricks and tips like when to put in the wood I think i can figure everything else out fyi I'm going to try my hand at brisket tomorrow thank for the help

Mica, welcome to SMF!  Glad you are here with the new smoker and going after the big boy brisket right out of the box.  Use the search feature of the forum to find tricks for your smoke vault smoker.  Post pics of the brisket if you get the chance.

This is how I start with my SV.

Then add another chunk every 45 minutes to an hour to keep the smoke rolling.
