From Buffalo, NY, (so not exactly the smoking capital, but great for food).  Started smoking about two years ago in a LP barrel type smoker that was given to me and was hooked.  Used it a few times with no knowledge and mixed success but always learned something each time.  After realizing I'd be doing a LOT more smoking, I jumped on here, read a ton, did a bunch of research and pulled the trigger on a new smoker today (MES 30 along with an AMNPS with an assortment of pellets).  So, hopefully in a week or so, I'll be chowing on some smokey goodness!!

If you didn't read the "Terms of Service" notes.....please do.  There are a few things that everyone should know about those pesky little rules before plunging into the forums and some guidelines of how to interact within the forums. Off site links are not allowed here at SMF per TulsaJeff. Not that you have done anything wrong....just a little bit of FYI for new members!

If you need any help roaming around the forums....just holler!  Happy to help out!
