first time pastrami w Q/view

3/262015 I got a 4lb corn beef brisket day before yesterday, soaked it in water for 16 hrs changed out the water every 2 hrs for the first 8 hrs. kept it in fridge over night. i am going to rub it down and let it rest for a while befoe i smoke it with hickory wood.

Got my rub on, now letting it rest to soak in some of the flavors.

I am going to smoke it like a brisket on my lang reverse smoker .     (old fashion stick burner)
 
the rub recipe i got from worktghr. just the smell of it makes my mouth water

4 tablespoons fresh coarsely ground black pepper
2 tablespoons coriander powder
1 teaspoon mustard powder
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon paprika
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons onion powder

I think I got past the stall pastrami IT is at 183 now gonna pull it at 190 to 195
