Well its been a long time waiting but I'm finally smoking butts solo for the first time. After helping my brother in law smoke for family get togethers and just for fun I got the bug and built my own cooker. Now I'm hooked! For the last two months at least every other weekend I've cooked something and was asked by a neighbor to cook for her husbands birthday/Halloween bash. Here's to hoping I don't have to order pizza for 100 people Made my own rub out of several favorite ingredients and rubbed the butts down and put them in the fridge over night. Over 63 lbs of meat and smells good so far but still nervous about keeping the moisture in. Temp has been holding steady at about 225 all morning and I put them on a 3:30am. Also doing my first :grilling_smilie:fatty and stuffed jalapeños for lunch that will go on about 11.
