Finally tried out a couple chuckies today. Got them for $2.03/pound at kroger.
Did one with tony cacheres garlic herb injection and another with a simple rub of garlic, onion powder, kosher salt and cbp.

Here they are in the smoker.

And sliced on the plate with some smashed potatoes, green beans, and homemade beer bread.

It was very tasty, will do again for sure. Now I need to figure out what to do with the leftovers, I am thinking enchiladas or tacos for sure.

Thanks for checking out my smoke.

That looks awesome nice job. I like leftover chuckies I usually just reheat and eat them.

Shweeeeet!

Great job, Brad. Which one did you have for dinner?

Glad to see you made the beer bread too.

Nice job, in my house there are never leftovers, thats because most of the neighbors are lined up at the door with their hands out.

Nice presentation man! The smoke rings are very appealing. I have yet to make a chuckie - after seeing this, I'll bump it higher on my to-do list.

Thanks for sharing,

Tom

Damn those looked good! I mean GREAT! I love seeing that pretty ring around things.
Have read a lot of posts lately about chuckies. Acme regularly has them buy one get one free so next time they have that deal I will pick up a few and try them out. Hope they come out as yummy looking as yours did.
