Read Jeff's advise on spatchcocking a chicken and since I am a litttle new to this, never done one, why not

used two  2lb birds

injected spicy garlic marinate into the birds

brushed outside with mustard and lightly sprinkled herb and spice seasoning

I have a Bradley electronic 4 rack smoker with smoke generator

perheat to 300f, set cooking temp to 240f & started the smoke 

set birds on center rack

smoke & cook for 1 1/2 hrs using Bradley special blend pucks

cook only  for another 1 1/2 hrs till breast meat was 175f

cut bird in half through breast and each person got a half (was to much for some)

was a great success , thanks Jeff
