First smoke - wings! (steak q-view bonus)

Fired up my MES 30 last weekend.  My first smoke went pretty well.  I wanted to try a shorter smoke to test things out, so I went with APL wings.  Not bad!  I think I'll do more smoke next time.

I did my second smoke tonight and tried a reverse sear on a sirloin tip steak.  I've never had a smoked steak before.  DW was not a fan.  Sigh.

Both look good! We tried smoking Ribeyes and I'm with the DW - not my favorite either.

Reverse seared steaks!  Love 'em....won't eat them any other way now.  Did some last weekend.

We had one for dinner that night and the second in a salad two days later with baby spinach, red onions, cucumbers, and gorgonzola cheese!
