First smoke on my mes 30 and ? Bout the ash pan

Smoking a but and two racks of baby backs on my first smoke. How often will I need to empty the ash pan while I'm smoking? Was wondering how full it would get.
Already kicking myself because I for to inject my butt because I was to excited to get going lol

I never empty mine until after I,m done with the smoke. If you wait till it's done smoking before you add more chips it won't fill up.
