Smoking my first pork butt tommorow . 8 pounds covered in rub right now . Wish me luck guys . Any tips?
 
What smoker you using? Cook to probe tender. Yes , be patient.
 
Start early, don't be afraid to bump up temp be done on time and be meticulous with your pulling, pick out all cartilage and unrendered fat. 

Also, have fun.
