Well, it's my first post. Picked up a Masterbuilt Sportsman on CL. Looked like crap, all sunbleached, stained, greasy all over. Was only a year old. Got on it, washed it all up, steel brushed, sanded, re-painted with Krylon Hi-Temp black. Looks new, inside was already seasoned, so just cleaned the racks. Just finished first batch of thighs & breasts. I'm in Henderson, so my starting temp was 105 ( yikes ). Really running hot for the first 30 minutes, but i figured it out, down to 230. Rubbed with some Cajun & Worstechire, came out awesome. Pecan was on sale @ Lowes, so used that. Tomorrow doing 2 pork loins. Happy smoking.
