Looks like a tasty smoke!

I got scared! I left them in the foil for 2 hours 20 min. Whoops! I hurried and took them out the foil and got them back on. Turned the vents off and glazed with a tiny bit of jack d bbq sauce.
Surprisingly the thicker end had some pull, but the thinner end was fall off the bone. Actually the smallest end bone fell threw the grate and is on the minis diffuser plate.:biggrin
The ribs were very reddish looking to the eye, like the second pic.

Got a little smoke ring. I left the fall off the bones for the wifey. :devil:

I kept the mini at approximately 230 and was shooting for 2 2 1 method. I used hickory and apple chunks for wood.

I cant believe how efficient these little smokers are! You can see some of the small chunks of hickory and apple I originally threw on. She didn't even need them for a five hour smoke! Hello!

Yep the most ni is one fuel efficeient smoker. Make yourself a charcoal basket and you'll gain more efficiency! Then after a cook and then mags have cooled down shake the ash out of the basket, dump what little is in the base, add new briquettes to the old and start a new smoke.

Dirtsailor is right on the money about building the fire basket.  It makes things a lot easier for sure.

I would also recommend getting a clay saucer and covering it in foil.  Place it on top of the steamer plate. 

It will do 3 things for you.  It will act as a heat sink, a diffuser and a drip pan.    I think the saucer I'm using is 10"
