You will need to come back to Michigan with me to put it back together! I still have a week off left this year!

Thanks, but I am quit the masonry and moving on to .....SMOKIN!

Have a good one

That is very nice, exactly what I want to build. I've one question, is there a divider between the fire box and smoke chamber?

That looks really nice! I don't have any experience with a set up like that so could you give some details to go with those pictures so I can understand how it works?

Nice work!

Awesome job Jim!!    Love the grill area.  Great idea.   Everything taste better over a fire!!   Fact!

No divider, but thought of it for an offset smoker and or a grill. Easy to do and add a damper. This is an after thought and didn't follow through with the idea.

POGO,

Thanks.

It is a vertical smoker as Wes Walters in the Brick Smokers page. I have steel slats running over the bottom row of fire brick for a damper. Above I have a steel plate with a stainless steel damper slide to control heat and smoke.

Wes has a full detail of his and mine is a spin off from Wes.

hope this helps or you contact me again
