My name is Patrick and we've just finished filling the freezer with smoked brisket, pork butt, salmon, and more.  There's nothing better in the dark days of winter here in Minnesota than pulling a little bit of summer out of the freezer.  I have a beat up old Bradley that has been a true work horse for years.  I am researching new smokers and, the choices have grown tremendously since the last time I shopped.  This site is amazing and helping me narrow down my choices. If you have a great recommendation, let me know!  Happy to be here :)

Welcome to the group Patrick!  You'll find that this is a great place to share ideas on smoking, grilling, etc.  There are plenty of folks here who genuinely enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to your input, and just ask when you need anything...someone here will surely have the answer.

Thanks for the great info. I'm up to my eyeballs in info and that's a good thing :)

Welcome to the group. We live in Maryland, but my wife is from Pine City Minnesota. The info on this page is great, but can be overwhelming. Do it like I so with A.A. "take what you need and leave the rest. "
