finally first build

ive post this a while back about building a new pit and we finally started on it this weekend. got a good amount done in my opinion. hopefully gonna try and do some more to it this week.

havent had much progess went home last night to work on it and ended up watching the basketball games im gonna work on it tonight and tomorrow ready to cook on this thing. i finally have all my temp probes and hinges to finish it out.

gonna have a alarm sysytem on it so if my temp gets too low or high it lets me know. thought thats gonna be pretty cool ill post more pics as i get them i always forget to take the pics. one thing i can say is this forum has been alot of HELP

the pit itself is 5ft by 30" and the fire box is 26x30 (free material wont complain). i have the pipe for the exhaust and its a 6" pipe. anything yall wanna know ask and ill do the best i can.

I know its a lil dark but couldn't help my self this evening still got a lot of welding but I did burn some oak and drank a few bud lights this evening.
