Took inspiration from Steve H and finally am giving it a shot.

4% brine, garlic, dill, mustard seed, coriander seed, black pepper corns, crushed red pepper, bay leaves

Done! They turned out great! Ended up with 6 half gallon jars and a few quarts in old pickle jars.

Toolkit the yeast of with a turkey baster.

Very crisp and nasty.

Only tossed 3 that were soft.

Will do again.

Nice work . I haven't tried fermented yet . Did 3 quarts of fridge pickles yesterday .
I bet the ferment makes a greay pickle .
