My idea is to use the fan to bring fresh air into the chamber if the humidity gets to high.

I won't need a cooler for the chamber this time of year.

Those of you with chamber builds, does this make sense?

Thanks

Testing the heat control.

Heating bulb at one end, temperature probe at the other.

Bulb shut off at 85 degrees, and came back on at 82 degrees, exactly as programmed.

Testing the humidity controller.
Humidifier shuts off as programmed, fan kickd on as programmed.

Next step is to test temperature and humidity controls together.

I am replacing the bulb with a mini ceramic heater with fan.

That should get here Wednesday.

Ill test that configuration and permanently mount the USB fan.

Just about finished. Giving it a test run, comparing 100w ceramic bulb with mini heater. Heater has a fan, which blows pretty hard and steady. Might put it on a dimmer switch.

USB fan comes on when humidity exceeds set value.

I need to do something about the wires. I hate a mess of wires.

The controllers are held in place with velcro.
