Benn doing eggs this way for years. Probably posted some of them in the past but as I get older I forget things, so here we go.
Spent the week of the 4th up north at my friends cabin on the lake. He happens to be a farmer in my area. 8 kids, 8 adults, 4 dogs. It was as crazy as ever and we had some hungry folks.
My day for breakfast was these eggs. A play on a sausage wrapped scotch egg. Farm eggs wrapped with a piece of cheese, then wrapped in farm sausage, and finally wrapped with farm bacon! It’s a all in one breakfast hand grenade!
Eggs on the weber.
With the eggs on the grill had some time to have some fun with Scout. Dog spent the whole week in the water. She’s a duck dog and very use to water but I had no idea she could swim non stop. We were wadding in the middle of the lake and she’d Swim out to us and all around us for 30-45 minutes before going back to shore to catch her breath for a few minutes and then swim back out to us.
Finished product. Sorry I meant to take some better pics but I was on vacation and more or less wasn’t to concerned with great pics.
Scout finished breakfast up with some watermelon. Between her and the kids we went through 3 watermelons in 6 days.
Overall a great vacation that we’ve been doing with the same 4 families on the 4th of July week for 4 years now. A much needed vacation for most of us.
Only downer is Hooper The Wonder Dog is still hurt from our Arkansas hunting trip. she goes so hard that I decided to leave her home for the week because I knew she’d push it and aggravate her injury. So I’m gonna close this post out with a pic from her a few years ago on this vacation. It’s my favorite pic of her on the lake.
The Wonder Dog will be back next year!
Thanks for checking this thread out. I hope everyone had a great holiday!
