so I've got 4 1/2 lbs of ground beef all mixed up with the cure and spices and letting it marinate to make into my jerky.....gonna be a busy bee tomorrow.......

one must do what one must do!!!!!! think I'll use the stuffer on some of this and make some snack stick size ones just for giggles.......

will do.......I've never made it into snack sticks so it will be something different....hopefully it tastes as good as in the jerky form!!!!!

Oh guess what?
My brother-in-law bought a Jerky Gun today and a dehydrater from Nesco! It looks a bit small but it's a start. Like $40 for the whole show. Might get him smokin yet!

well I fell behind today, had to see the doc and they pulled blood and I had not eaten so by the time I got home I crashed......oh well.....

I did punch a couple of snack stick size out, have on the dehydrator now to see if they will work or not......

I have that nesco one, have that jerky shooter also....the jerky shooter stinks, but the dehydrater is good, I'm basically on my 3rd one in seventeen years, it can be expanded to 12 trays and that is what I've got now!!!! it does a great job!!!
