standing over the pit- kentucky
i'm new to the forums here & dropping in to say hi. also wanted to say i'm a texas native now living in kentucky and these folks don't even know what a fajita is @ the local markets(including walmart).plus i'm in a dry county and can't get my spices unless it's ordered off the net..man, enjoy it if ya got it wherever you are.
Dam brother that sounds like purgatory

Get down to the local grocer and get yourself some flank steak ordered. Homemade fajitas are the best any way.

Now get on over to roll call and introduce yourself proper like
I have to ask myself ... why would someone knowingly move to a dry county?

I passed through one on a Sunday years ago, and the proprietor at the gas station told me the only happy people in a dry county are the Baptists and the Bootlegger ....
first off to squeezy- women make ya do crazy things, 2nd in this har state they don't even know what flank steak or skirt steak is.. the only fajitas come from taco bell or ponderosa- but i did manage to buy 2 black angus today @ auction & a new remington 14" chainsaw- yessir... i will be having some fajitas.........i'll get right on over to roll call & say hi semper fi que(cue fer ya white folks) or die.. gypsy.

Maybe they'll get a large influx of Mexicans and catch up. When I first came back to CT in 75 you couldn't buy a toritia or get a taco - now there everywhere! ALthough the Chinese are taking over now because of the casinos. Thank god I love chinese food!
but ya still can't get a real fire browned tortilla in ct. ya gotta have 70 yr old mexican hands flipping it on a cast iron skillet over mesquite wood or (can't believe i'm giving this secret out)brahma patties....... king ranch style flour tortillas(which most real mexicans won't touch a flour tortilla).. oops i miss south texas & ramble..
