Nice setup.I read the dimensions on Amazon but that PID looks smaller.:confused: The setup would definitely fit in an ammo can.
 
1 3/4" square and about 3 1/2" deep. There's a video on YouTube of a guy doing one in a plastic ammo can.
 
Put the finishing touch on my PID today. Added a K coupler jack to the box, and a male plug to the probe. And grabbed a 15 foot K extension from the same place. This will allow me to keep the controller in the garage and the smoker out on the walk in the winter or rain. Just need to do something to waterproof the connection between the extension and the probe plugs. Not sure how water resistant these PID's are.
