ECB Temp?

Can I use a Digital meat thermometer somehow to see what the temp is in my Smoker? If so how whould I do that?

When I was getting to know the smoker and if I should trust the outside thermometer I would use one of my wireless probes put through a potato so it can stand to give me temp readings from inside the smoker.
