No more trouble dealing with temps on 1 firebox much less 2, why connect them because draft and wind will always be changing and temps will run erratic,the attorney stands to make more than you will but good luck

You may want to check with your attorney on public discussions of your plan. Patent law is pretty strict.

What jcam said and that is why I post my designs online so they can’t be patented....I like to share....

Anyway I am considering a two fire box smoker but not for how you described. I would use it for having two different temps styles of smoking. My copper pot build actually has the ability to have two fires but I’ve yet to do use it that way. I know it will at some point though!
