Hello all!

My 13 year old son and I have ventured into the land of smokin' together. I have had an interest in it for years, but never really invested the time or effort into learning how to do it. We started watching BBQ Pitmasters together and we both have a love for good Q so we dove in. For Father's Day my kids got me a Char Broil smoker with a side firebox and Myron Mixon's book. He has made all the rubs and marinades and I have done the cooking. So far so good, our ribs and chicken came out amazing! We are now setting out on a brisket and pork butt adventure! We are both video gamers as well and we enjoy a good zombie flick and that is where our "name" DT BBQ came from.

We live in the Phoenix metro area in Arizona.
