Got a couple going to hang in a double lynchin party

Got a turkey and a fresh ham going to get a brine for a few days then a hangin.

Got the brines ready for the turkey and ham. 2 different kinds.

The turkey. Brine is in the measuring cup next to it.

Inject the turkey all over, breast bone, thigh leg areas.

Breast side down fully covered with as much air as you can from the bag. Fridge for 4-7 days

Now the ham.

Dark rum, salt, brown sugar, allspice

Inject all over next to the bone. I trimmed the skin from the ham but left some on the end shank. This will help hold it on the hook.

Cover the ham taking out as much air from the bag as you can.

Brine 4-7 days. Prob do the same day as the barn buzzard.
