Thanks for the compliments guys! I was very happy for my virgin run. As far as the bourbon adding flavor I have nothing else to base it on but I can say that it had a very rich and sweet taste that everyone that ate it loved. I plan on using the apple juice/red stag mix in some ribs this weekend instead of the apple/ capt Morgans and see if I can see a difference.
