I'd tear ALL that up but man those mushrooms! CRAVING some of those!!! Never toasted a bun for dogs and will have to try that. Recently tried toasting my buns for sloppy joes and that was a game changer.

Thank You Sam!!
I'll tell you the first place I had toasted rolls for Dogs, Burgers, and Steak Sammies was at a place called "Merle's". It was a teenage hangout, Soda Fountain that made Great Sammies, Fries, and Ice Cream & Shakes. That was the first place where they toasted the buns & also the place I learned to make the little diagonal cuts in the Dogs.
We all formed up there after Sports practices, after school, and even had our rides pick us up there, later, instead of at the school, right after practice. The place was only a half a block from the Football Field. (7th & Juniper Streets)
Merle's also had the "Cherry Cokes" in the paper cones, supported by the Stainless Steel cup holder. Remember them??

Some tasty looking dogs there, Bear! I’ve been itching for a nice hotdog, might have to scratch that itch a bit sooner now after seeing these.

Bear, you never fail to amaze. I don’t even like mushrooms and those look great. I have to remember hotdogs for an easy dinner!

Lookin' good in the hood Bear! I'm with @buzzy, I haven't had a dog in about forty years. Put a sausage on that bun with mustard and kraut, sign me up! RAY

I was never a Kraut fan , but love hot dogs, I fill them every way I can , Even cheez whiz on the buns first. Helps hold my raw onions lol

Mona would eat that whole tray of mushroom's

David

Thank You David!!
The best Mushrooms I've ever had were wild ones we used to pick in a cow pasture. We 3 oldest kids used to pick them, and Dad would sort them out when we got home. I should have gotten him to teach me how to tell the Good from the Bad, but we lost him without that happening.

Wow Bear, great looking stuff, even if I am late to the party again :emoji_astonished: The dogs look really good but the mushrooms and the Holupki I'd tear up!! Love both but have a good friend that married a sweet little Polish girl and her grandmother made the best I've ever had. It was amazing.

Thank You Jim!!
When I was a Kid, I used Ketchup on just about everything.
Since then it just became too sweet for my tastes.
I still use it on Fries, if they aren't too great & need it.
I also sometimes use it on Sausage---Fresh & Smoked.

Well, I'm late to the party again, John. The Dogs are great. The Stuffed Mushrooms stole the show. Excellent job! I could eat Hot Dogs every day, but that's a no go.

Thank You Furmn!!
A Hot Dog was the first food I got my Butt Beat for!!
Mom caught me standing on a chair I had pushed over to the gas stove, holding a Hot Dog over the flame, on the end of a long handled fork.
She came around the corner, and All Hell Broke Loose!!! OUCH!!!

Thank You Robert.
I had 3 Old Ladies who made Holupkis for me, and brought them every year, when Linda prepared their Income Taxes for them.
One was my best Buddy's Mom, who was Ukrainian, and her husband was a Hunky. She made them both ways. The other 2 were Polish, and made them Polish. They were all Great, but I liked the Hunky ones best.
The last one living died almost 2 years ago, from Covid.
My DIL Bethany started making them, but hers need work.
Also Mrs Bear makes Great "Unstuffed Holupkis".
