Could ya be a little less enigmatic please for us relative newbies? Time, temperature, coating, did you brine, did you sear, etc.
Thanks

Really?

Young blood... is this is how your father taught you to meet strangers?

I still remember the day back in '68 when my dad handed me the rifle and allowed me to put down my first Red Duroc whilst he pretended to fuss over the boil barrel. I had watched for a few years at that point and knew the drill. There was no "recipe".. there was a process. A process passed down to me not because I made demands, but because I took the time to watch and learn.. put in the time.

This isn't Oprah Hour or Martha Stewart Prime time.... you don't get to sit by and politely clap and wait for someone to give you stuff. And you sure as hell don't get to make demands of me on your very first post in my threads. That didn't work well for those drill instructors at Paris Island back in '80 and I suspect that all the time that has passed since has done nothing but temper the steel in my spine. No disrespect intended, but the attitude came off that way.

So if you are looking for a short answer, I have one for you....

No.

A little more self-affacing tact is more apt to appeal to my vast erudite nature.

Carry on.

Wow. I've been gone a few days and just saw the post. I was admiring the brisket and about to compliment when I read the response to wingrider. Granted, the question could have been asked better, but no reply might have been a better option....
"vast erudite nature" or "hubris"?

Duly noted. You would not have replied. You do you, I'll do me... Move along.. and consider yourself airlocked in the ignore list.

Carry on
