Does anyone have any experience with this tabletop Pit Boss pellet grill/smoker?

I guess I had different results than you did. I would have enough ashes left over to half way cover the heating rod.

That is why I bought a small 1 gallon shop vac that I only used for the pellet smoker. I still have it even though I no longer have a pellet smoker.
That's what I use as well.

May not be as handy as you guys little vacs but I bought a bucket vac from Home Depot I think it was called “bucket head” just snaps on to a 5 gallon bucket, but it does give the option to use a metal bucket, just in case of hot ember.

I had one of those a long time ago, but it went missing somewhere along the way (I think one of my BILs "borrowed" it).

Well, my first brisket (a small one, point, only 3lbs) is out of the new smoker (took it out around 10:15PM)...pics and comments tomorrow.

Should I add on to this thread or start a new one (I'm never sure about the best way to do that!)?

Start a new thread in the Beef section. I look forward to viewing it.

Well, bad news folks. Amazon delivered my new Pit Boss Tabletop today and it was gunched!

And here's the real kicker. I requested a return with replacement but Amazon was not able to replace, return with refund was the only option, or keep it and get $40 credit. Really? This thing is beat to hell and on its way back to New York!
I'm just kinda bummed.

Oh no!

I guess I've been lucky with my Amazon orders. Out of the (far too many) items I've ordered over the years, there's only been 2 lost in transit and only a handful delayed. So far, never received a damaged item.

Of course, I probably just jinxed myself...I'm just sayin'!

Sherry your going to enjoy having this little guy. My BIL has one, takes it camping. Perfect size for him and wife. I'll use it from time to time when we are camping neighbors. Invest in the weather cover or carry bag.

Enjoy

So far, so good!

I did the small brisket point and a rack of baby backs as "party ribs".

The brisket was VERY good (to me, anyway...1st time I ever ate smoked brisket).

As for the ribs, I think it's easier to just smoke them whole instead of cutting them apart as there appears to be a VERY small window between "close" and "done" that someone more experienced than myself would pick up on...IDK. I mean, they weren't shoe leather, but they weren't as they should have been, either.

Gonna have to get to know it over time I guess.
