If theres still work to do, then beer or a Rum&coke is the order. Once all the work is done, its time to relax and enjoy the time to do so with a good scotch.
From what I know the Macallan, despite being a higher proof, is a less aged Scotch (and perhaps a blend, thus it not having an actual age statement like the Glenfiddich which is 15 YO. The Macallan wasn't as aged, and even with the higher proof, was still a nice pour.
It happened my friend! I went with the Macallan. Glenfiddich is my personal favorite and will have some of that later today. Pic to follow
