Difference between Weston 2300 and 2600??

Only difference I see, looking at the specs on both, is a 15 inch sealing bar on the 2300 vs a 16 inch sealing bar on the 2600. The rest of the specs are pretty much the same.

Same here. And thanks for the speedy response

actually purchased at 2300 today off Amazon. I guess they stopped making the 2300 and I believe the 2600 replaces it. I’m old school tho and I’ve heard very good things about the 2300 and know lot of stuff being built now days is crap so I went with the older model 2300

Here she is. Looks very well built. I thought at first they shipped me the non stainless but it just protective wrap. I’ll probably keep it on for a while. It’s a 16” heating bar. I can do 2 8” bags at a time. The bags have about 1/4 or more on each side that allows me to fit the 2 8” bags to still be sealed at once. Excited to try it. Batch of beef jerky I did last night for a lot of the day on my smoker
