So I had some extra boneless skinless breasts and although I've heard these are not the ideal piece for the smoker, I am have a new smoker and i'm obsessed! So for this sunday's cook, I put the chicken in a brine of water, salt, sugar, and..... a GENEROUS dose of Blair's Mega Death hot sauce

, wrapped 3 strips of bacon around each piece and secured with toothpicks, then cooked with hickory for about 3 hrs at 230 in the smoker untill i hit 165 internal temp.

Well DAMN! I didn't know chicken breasts could be so juicey! The bacon was crispy, the chicken was spicey, and although I completely forgot to glaze the chicken with bbq sauce, I served a little sweet baby rays on the side and it was not even touched!

So yup.. tastes like chicken, and that is what i did today.

Thanks for reading!
