one of my favorite ways to eat deer meat. these were small chunks from one of the does ive harvested this season. everything rolled in oil, seasoned up good, and assembled. smokin hot grill to char up some flavor! i put a spagetti squash in the instant pot for 12 min to go with. veggie heavy meal but thats ok once in a while. lol

mid cook pic. they tasted as good as they look. the small doe was tender as could be! fresh never frozen, fridge aged meat.

i have a roast in there wet aging to 20days also. if you never tried it, that really brings out the tbone like flavor of deer. i sudggest you read up on it and treat yourself. if you have the ball to do so that is. not going to lie, it smells when it comes out. if you can get past that and cook and taste it youll be amazed! trust me, i wouldnt waste my time if it wasnt.

This is something I should try and dont know why I haven't. So, no marinating/tenderizing? What doneness did you cook to?

yes i seasoned the meat the night before. cut up and season how you like. this was a young tender deer so not much was needed to tenderize it. kabobs cook fast and thats a good thing with deer on the grill. its fast easy and super tasty any night of the week. if your feeding people that are picky, soak in some "dales wild game marinade"(at walmart now days) over night. they wont know its deer meat dude!
