Just got back from looking at some items. The guy wants to make me a package deal on everything he is selling. He has been in the concession business about 15 years. He accumulated alot of these items over the last couple of years thinking he and his partner were going to build another concession trailer.
Turns out they have decided they are both busy enough running 3 trailers and plans to build another are scrapped.
So he has the following items he wants to sell and he wants to clear them out of his garage.

2- Silver King under bar 4ft refrigeration units. He said one worked and one did not. But when we plugged them in they both worked.

1- 4ft propane 3 pan steam table. Very good condition.

1- table top 2 basket propane deep fryer (very dirty and greasy needs a good cleaning)

1- table top 2ft flat grill (needs a good cleaning)

1- 2ft propane Chargriller. (same needs cleaning)

1- 12" auto feed/self sharpening hobart meat slicer

He says he will take $800 for the lot. My problem is I don't have anywhere to put all the stuff right now. I don't want to leave things outside as they will get ruined. I am interested in one of the Silver King refrigeration units but to be honest other than that I don't know what to do with the rest of it. He guarntees everything works. It all needs a good cleaning. The Silver Kings are in excellent shape. All the door gaskets are good and all shelves are there.

The catch is he said he will give me untill Monday to decide. But he really wants to sell as a package deal. He dosen't have time to answer the phone and deal with each item individually. He wants it gone!! Even offered to deliver it all and he is about 40 miles away!!

I'm thinking I could clean it all up and turn a buck on this stuff and wind up with the Silver King for free. But How long will I trip over it in my garage before I can move it??

Here are some quick pics I took while I was there.
Any input anyone?? Whatcha all think??

Left to right: Chargriller, flat griddle, deep fryer and Hobart slicer. Silver Kings underneath

3 pan steam table

Better shot of the 2 Silver Kings. They are 2 doors each unit. You can see the slicer better too.

Being that I have looked for a decent flat grill, fryer, and slicer at decent prices and have yet to find all of them I would say thats a heck of a deal if everything works. I know different parts of the country those things bring different money but I know for my area that would be cheap

Assuming it all works and is in pretty good condition then $800 is a great bargain.
The little flat top new can go for at least $800 itself not to mention a fryer and that nice Hobart slicer!
I ever came across such a deal I would go for it.

That is a steal! That Hobart slicer is selling on auctions for over $1000!
Buy it!!! I'll go $300 on the slicer!

I sealed the deal tonight. Good or bad it is mine. I will clean it up, fire it all up and see what I want to part with. All inquireries welcome

Thats what it's all about is the fun!! The guy who owns this stuff is a genuine great guy! He appreciates what people do for him and he returns it in kind. He is not above anything. Genuine people are becoming rare...

good snagfrom what seems like a good feller.............if you can't moove it, build you nice outdoor set up

You should be able to make money on that and maybe end up with a free slicer on top of a profit...

Thanks Paul!! I'm not concerned about making a profit. My time is no more important then the next guys!! Hopefully I can pass some of this stuff on to someone who can use it!!!
