My wife picked up some frozen turkey breasts and whole turkeys for $.50 per pound. I was excited. Thought I would share it. This is what I call Q on the cheap.

I was wanting turkey breasts to make lunch meat, but could find any so they had turkeys at .79/lb. I ordered two. Got here any they are already brined/liquid added.

Since its June, a long time till Turkey day (past and future), I think I'll just smoke one of those hummers and do the whole turkey/dressing/giblet gravy/fruit salad dealies! Who doesn't like Thanksgiving? I think a year is too long to wait!

Sounds great to me...packing my bags for the trip now haha. I did one a few weeks back...mashed potatoes, green beans on the side. They have Christmas in July, why not Thanksgiving in June?

I also have a meat purchasing addiction. I do it when I find a super deal.
