Cyclone stuffer/Kitchener grinder

Discussion in 'Roll Call' started by n id elkhunter, Nov 5, 2013.

  1. Wondering if anyone has used this combo before and if so, what was your outcome? I have a grinder and built my own stuffer, and it works (for the most part) and don't really have the space for what ive made here. I see the cyclone stuffer and looks cool, all the reviews look good as well. But would rather hear from people who "use" one as opposed to just having one. The Kitchener grinder is the #22 wheel grinder adapted to an electric motor and it grinds meat like a beast!! I know that a dedicated stuffer is the way to go, but for what I would be doing, 20 bucks online for the cyclone is a far better investment right now then 300 for the alternative at cabelas, any input would be great.

I have a Lem 5# stuffer and love it. The mixer or grinder attachments don't work very

well. But you have to work with your budget.

    Happy smoken.

I've never used it, but it looks interesting! The biggest problem I found was my sausage was full of air and irregular shaped from the grinder/stuffer. I just watched craigslist for a bit and came across a large all stainless steel commercial style horizontal stuffer and scored it for about $125. Be patient, be vigilant, you can most likely find a deal too! But for that price, it may work in the mean time.
