Thanks B, I got the MES 30 and want to do some cold smoking. Is the tube smoker and pellet smoker compatible with the MES. Do you have a preference?

I have not tried the Tube smoker but the AMNPS will work great in the MES 30

You're welcome CM. I just got the MES 30 as well & ordered the AMNPS for it. That's what everyone seems to prefer for them. As far as I know, the tubes are for pellet grills & smokers. I ordered the ET-732 & some pellets as well. I should be set. The special is for today only though if you decide to order...

MES30 @ Cabela's for $159.99 today for those who don't have one (like me). I had some gift cards to use up and a coupon, so my total after tax with in-store pick-up opposed to shipping was $94.26. I figured it was a safe investment after reading all of the info on SMF about folks that have them. I already have the AMNPS from Todd and love that, so it will be a nice upgrade from my BGES el cheapo I'm using now.

Ha I didnt even see your post b, just placed my order before work got the same thing! Well actually I got the ampns package with propane and the 732. I believe that was the model the one that alerts you on your controller once probe reaches temp. Anyway cant wait till it gets here.
