Curing meat and meat expirition dates

    Hey guys.  Quick question:

    I have some pork leg and butt that I want to cure but it wont finish curing until after the expiration date on the label.  Should I worry or does curing slow down the spoiling?

    As long as it has been frozen or kept in the fridge till you put it in the cure and you keep it cold while you are curing it ,You should be fine.
