Cured meat question

I cured 25lbs of sausage and was wondering how long the cured sausage can safely be kept in my refrigerator before smoking?
 
I would try and get them smoked within 48 hours...  they are probably good for longer but why wait...     I have made sausage and put them in my smoker overnight to smoke....   set the smoker at 150 and let her go...  brought the links up to final temp the next day.....
 
ASAP is the best but you will be fine up to 5 days...JJ
 
If a scheduling conflict came up, like work or travel, maybe it's possible to freeze them and thaw later to smoke. I don't know.
