but cooking is an art. He grills burgers, way to go big guy!!

Way back in the day my first non family paying job was laying railway track. The wise old guy on the crew had a cooking shovel, yes a shovel. Not to be used for anything else, long handled. Rinse it oil it,used it like a fry pan over campfire, wash it put back on truck. He probably lived to be a 100.

How many building sites have a grill made up from a sheet of concretors steel mesh, does the food taste good of course it does if the guy on the grill knows his stuff. Theres 100s of examples.

I do not like neat freaks, male or female. Probably why I m self employed, Ive never had anybody come to any house, cabin or campsite of mine & talk to me like that about how I  do what I  do & that includes me doing roast dinners in a 50 year old woodburning Carmichael stove in the mountains. You said what about my cooking??

I am reminded of what my dad use to say god rest his soul.   "Better to be thought a fool then to open ones mouth and remove all doubt".  I think dad was quoteing Mark Twain.

I would add that your BIL should take the basic E-Course.
