I'm not really good at times like this but... THAT SUCKS. F Cancer. I'll be praying for him and his family. He brought a lot of knowledge and is always great to talk with. He is at least with a group of other great guys that were waiting for him up there.

Sad new for sure. I'm sorry to have not checked in here sooner...just been out of pocket for several days.

Warren was surely one of the good ones, and will be missed here. Always helpful and always with a friendly word for anyone.

It's alarming to me the number of old friends we've been losing these last couple years...

Just an update on the status of Halfsmoked... I just spoke with his daughter and she confirmed he has cancer, and it has spread to multiple locations in his body now. The facility he is in has started him on morphine to ease his pain. As of now, he has a few weeks left with us. He is not accepting calls or texts.

2 months ago when I spoke too him, Warren was ready to get out of the rehab facility and go home to be with his family, but I guess the almighty had other plans for him. This cancer came on VERY fast, VERY aggressive, and was a shock to those that kept contact regularly.

Please keep Warren and his family in your prayers at this time. I'll post updates as I get them, but I told the family I am not a priority.

I am so sorry to hear about Warren. He was a staple here and always had such a helpful, kind presence. Thinking of his family during this difficult time, he’ll be missed by everyone on the forum. Rest in peace, Warren.
