Looks great! It been awile for me. My MIL made it and later, when I became a Chef, it was a Sunday Special in one restaurant I ran. Try Sautéing 1/2 cup Fine Diced Onions, until tender and golden, before adding the Beef and the Flour. I think they amp up the flavor and the hint of sweetness, balances the Salty Beef...JJ

That sounds like a good idea. I never had onions in it before. Thanks for the idea.

That's how Gma used to make it. Ate a lot of it back in the day, only occasionally now

Yup that is how I do it JJ is with chopped onions.
