I was a huge fan of BPS. Shopped there for over a decade and felt they were pretty dang good. Went to buy a couple rubs and a couple sauces For <$50. Shipping was like $9 for two week delivery, $15 for “ground”. I went to some other BBQ inline store and pretty much go the same garbage.

Googled around and found Scheels had what I needed, everything was cheaper, shipping was $8 and should be here in 4 days. Shipped from CO to CO.

Sadly the smoke shop half way close to me closed permanently. The next closest is like 45 minutes each way….but they do stock Lumberjacks and so I’ll be buying more less often.

Just needed to bitch about this shipping BS! Not sure what these online stores are thinking with high cost and slow shipping.

I know it is terrible!
Do you have an Ace nearby?
They have free shipping from warehouse to store. Can't be it and very large offering.

Good call! Yes, I drive past one on the way to the grocery store a couple times a week. I’ll give them a look.

Part of the reason I prefer delivery Is we live kinda far from everything. but Ace is on the way to the highway as well.

Nice. A couple of stores in the area are mini grill stores and stay loaded to the gills with supplies. I stop in regularly to browse to they usually have what I'm looking for. The keep my favorite char logs in stock now that I've order several bags.

And be sure to join their rewards program. Also have new offices each month for discounts!

Everything has gone up, except wages and retirement checks.

I haven't bought a rub or sauce in years. I even make my own ketchup! A result of going low carb several years ago, but what I make, sugar free, is good enough that I dont need to change a thing even though we are no longer technically low carb. We do stay away from sugar in general though.

If you get a Walmart+ account, they will ship for free.
It doesn't matter how close the store is to your house.
There is a difference between delivery and shipping.

We easily pay for our + account every year with the free shipping alone.

Yeah, prices are getting nuts. I am unable to find Diamond Crystal Kosher salt near me in Utah and would like to try it but not for 12 bucks to the door try it when i can Morton kosher at wally here for 3 ish bucks. i also noticed the sausage maker July 4th sale is free shipping.... which if found kind of Meh.. are shippers planning for 5-6 bucks a gallon fuel soon? (i paid 3.69 the other day locally so thus why im guessing at 5-6)
