How low can you put a food grate and still use it for smoking?
 
I want another rack but use the flat top.
 
And that's where my adjustable system accommodates the best of both worlds. More racks at any level you want. Can move the fire box up if you want. Oh yeah!
Oh Yea.. My Dad can beat up your Dad. LMAO ;)
On a serious note I'm just not a fan of multiple rack cooking. If I ever do I'll just suffer with the kettle lid. Jmo but racks up higher is better just too adjust fire for better smoke. I almost don't want to do it but I'll put my 2nd one about 2 inches down from the top.

I got pushed hard to get mine done.
 
But I switched barrels and wanted all the info I could get before starting.
 
No one and it still would not be done.
