Took 7 months for mine to come in. Bunch of run around claiming supply chain issues. But now I’m really doing well. I’m a side and belly sleeper but the specialist got me on the right mask. One of the more expensive ones of course.

Unfortunately, it sounds like you have been given the runaround. The best course of action might be to reach out to your local doctor or sleep study provider and see if they can help you get the prescription that you need in order to purchase a new CPAP through your insurance. They should be able to provide you with the necessary information to move forward. You may also want to consider investing in an auto CPAP as it offers more personalized settings for your individual needs.

My doctor finally got prescription sent to Healthline but they wanted $400 down than rent for $50 for ten months. Not doing that. That how insurance doing it now. Philips web site just gave me option to select auto CPAP with factory settings for recall. I selected it but know telling how much longer its going to be. Man this been a long road!

I'm in the same boat. Been using a 10+ year old machine since the recall 18 months ago. The most I've been offered from Phillips is a $50 credit toward a new one. I'm trying to see if my regular Dr. can write a script for a new one without going to the ENT. My most recent study was in 2015. I'm about to go back to using the recalled one.

Mine over 10 yo. They offered me $25 but I turned it down and stuck the course. You should of been able to say you want new one. I would log back on and look:

That is really BS! Considering how much these machines cost. And it is their issue.

kind of like the Takata air bag issues with most cars. They spread the recall out over something like 10 years so they would not go out of business.

The biggest issue is I need a prescription to get a new one, even if I pay for it outright. I have my yearly physical coming up in April, and hoping Dr. can write the script. Maybe my insurance will cover some or most of it. When I go on the site from Phillips all I get is BS and runaround. We were lead to believe they'd had this resolved in less than a year.

Can't you get the Rx from the place that did the sleep study. That's how I got my new one.

I didn't think of that. When I had the Study done in 2015, it was through the ENT, and I went back to them for the Prescription. I'll check that out, great idea. Thanks Steve.

I finally got mine about 3 weeks ago, after a 4 month wait.
Still trying to get used to it. Biggest adjustment is not being able to move or roll over when I sleep. Seems the slightest movement will dislodge the nose-mask, and then the sound of the rushing air keeps me awake.

This is where I'm at now. ~1 year without one and now I have to get used to wearing the mask again. I tried the nasal pillow so I could sleep on my side and ended up just blowing all the air out of my mouth even with a chin strap. Back to the full face, and it blows air in my eyes everytime I roll around. Ugh.

I been having bad sinus troubles and that what keeps happening. Wake up with severe dry mouth! Guess I need to look into full mask.
