Well here is the start to the new addition.she will be a double wall insulated with a burner from Afterburner.Inside dimensions are 29.75 widw by 26 deep and 48 tall to where the taper starts. The white tape is where the top of the racks will be.5" spacing on the racks so that I can have some options depending on whats cookin.feel free to offer up suggestions.

Send it my way upon finishing.... :) No really....Looking good. Can't wait to see it finished and see the food porn .

The expanded metal is the burner. The cutout in the mesh is for the coffee/juice can for the wood. The welder was a nice deal when I bought it from a friend who worked at Miller. He still works for Miller but I never get to see him any more as he has moved down south to Rep. Miller to the Nascar teams.I also have a spool gun attachment for doing aluminum. Then I also own a Miller synchrowave for TIG welding. Also a antique plasma torch but it still works for my needs. There isnt much that I cant weld here at home.Just wish it was a little warmer. The iceshack heater didnt even get the garage warm enuff to melt the snow that I carried in on my boots.

She got personalized about an hour after posting the pics.I tried turning her over to finish a couple welds and she fell off the welding table so now the area of the taper has a crease in each corner.I have a buddy that has a vinyl cutter and the plan was to have some flames all the way around the bottom with a salmon or two jumping out of the flames.Although that slogan may find its way there also, good thinkin. This unit is being built primarily for smoking fish and the next one(charcoal burner) will be for birds and meat. But there is a long way to go on this one yet.

The primary job for this unit will be Salmon. When this is done I will be starting a gravity feed charcoal burner aka Stumps Clone. When we have a good day of salmon fishing everyone wants some smoked fish.I have spent the day after the fishing trip smoking from 8 or 9 in the morning until 5 or 6 in the afternoon,so what I was hoping for was that this unit would be able to do a whole days catch in one session while reserving the clone for meat and birds.Funny when the guys at work found out I was building a smoker about 20 of them wanted to know what I was doing with the old GOSM.Then when talk of the second one got around they starting lokkin for the guys with the butterfly nets, why do you need 3 smokers.Hard to explain.HI I am Coz and I have smoking problem...

Coz,

Do you have A.D.D. .............. What ever happen to this smoker? Any finished pics of it. I'm jealous here!!!!

Randy,I am workin on the charcoal burner at the present time.I found a bunch of material so cheap I had to do it.I intend to fish the gasser when I get done with the other.Once in a while I do make a part for the gasser when doing something similar for the other. There isnt a lot left to make doors mostly then assemble her.
